Dr. Vidal Sheen is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Phlebology (the treatment of Varicose Vein Disease).
Prior to opening Sheen Vein and Cosmetics, Dr. Sheen was a vein treatment specialist for another vein clinic in St. Louis. While there, he became proficient in endovenous laser ablation techniques, Ultrasound-guided Foam Sclerotherapy and Visually Guided Sclerotherapy. Dr. Sheen remains active with the American Medical Association, American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and The American Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Dr. Sheen is proficient in the areas of Facial aesthetics, Regenerative Medicine and Pain modulation. He is well known for promoting a more natural approach to facial aesthetic treatments and Joint regeneration by using a client’s own body to rejuvenate and regenerate.
He is also proficient in Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT). Laser Technology, known for its precision, safety and simplicity, is now available for the treatment of Varicose Veins, and was FDA-approved for this indication in 2002. Dr. Sheen is supported by an exceptional clinic and administrative team dedicated to the treatment of Chronic Venous Disorders.
